USS Arizona and USS Missouri tour

This was my first visit to Hawaii!! Being an Army Brat and Wife it was important to visit the memorial and pay my respects to the grave site of the USS Arizona. This was quite an emotional experience for me and truly a blessing. Bill and Arlane were amazing! I highly recommend this tour!

Barney our guide was amazing. I had heard horror stories about companies not having tickets in advance for the Arizona and then having to wait in line for tickets but Kharma tours had it all taken care of. Barney walked us to each location and gave us great tips on how to schedule our day. Absolutely wonderful time. Barney also made sure to make a connection with my teenagers (no easy feat)!

It was very moving to visit both the Arizona and the Missouri and see the history. We had a great tour guide that made sure we knew where to go and what to do. He was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour of the Punchbowl and city afterwards. I highly recommended this be a must for your Oahu vacation

The price of admission is dealing with disorganized middlemen

I discovered that essentially it is impossible for an individual to buy tickets because the tour companies snap them up, so to start with I was a bit negative.
Then they said they would send a text between 4 and 7 pm the previous day to inform us of the pick-up time, but no one got the text. It was extremely nerve racking. I tracked them down aggressively and found out the meeting time. (I would suggest that they post the time on their website, for example, rather than relying on texts). We were biting our nails when the “7 am pickup” finally happened around 7:40
Once the tour started, it was as promised, and the guide was charismatic.
I think you have no choice than to deal with one of these middle men and their nonsense if you want to see the Arizona memorial.

There are commercial tickets that are separate from the public tickets... both sides are next to impossible these days.
We drastically cut the amount of people we take everyday so that we can guarantee the tickets. The other tour companies will sell hundreds of tickets and make everyone wait in line.
We do not.
And that is why we have fluctuating start time. We do not want our people to wait in line at Pearl Harbor for no reason.

As a veteran, my husband was very moved and respectful of the USS Arizona Memorial. The documentary movie provided excellent context for the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and the tour of the USS Missouri was very informative. We would highly recommend the small Karma Tours and their outstanding and generous guide, Ben!

Touring inside the Missouri Battleship, walking around the USS Memorial, and Lawrence, our tour guide. Lawrence was AMAZING!!!
He was very kind, knowledgeable, informative, helpful and funny.
I’ve been to Honolulu many times. I fly here often for work. I brought my son and I wanted him to experience some of the culture and history. There were things I learned about Pearl Harbor, the USS Memorial and the city of Honolulu, thanks to Lawrence. Your company is very fortunate to have him working for you.

Of course the USS Missouri and the USS Arizona lived up to all my expectations.
But Lawrence’s knowledge of the history and culture of the Hawaiian Island was extremely informative. This and the tour around Honolulu made the trip a very enjoyable experience
Next time I will definitely go on Viator’s Bowfin and Aviation history tour
